In April of 2005, my mother left this world
to begin the journey to the next plane of existence. At that time
it was hard for me to except that she had moved on. I wanted to
know what lay ahead of me when my time came. I wanted to see if
there was indeed life after death. So I joined the
IGHS and learned how to
conduct investigations properly, using basic equipment. So armed
with a digital camera and a digital voice recorder, I went to the
cemetery to see what I could find. Well would you know it worked,
I got some great evp and photos, since then I have dedicated my
life to investigating what lies in wait for us when we die. I
also wish to share with others what I've learned in my
adventures. So a few months down the road I formed the Deridder
Ghost Hunters Club, its first meeting was at Rynns Steak House
and from then on the rest as they say is
history.
We are a simple group made up of
people from all walks of life. We operate now in Beauregard,
Allen and Vernon Parish.
We strive to provide the best investigations possible free of
charge and we are good at what we do.
I want to thank our families for putting up
with our many nights of roaming through old buildings, old
cemeteries and then setting up to the wee hours of the night
downloading pictures and listing for the evp.
This site is dedicated to my mom and to all
those out there who have lost a loved one.
Also I
would like to dedicate this site to Dr. Dave Oester of the IGHS
who was there for me at a time when I was ready to quit, he
advised me not to give up but to continue the quest to prove that
life does survive the grave.
I would also like to think the members of my group who
stuck by me through the good times and the bad. Thank you
all.
